Our Mission
The Hamilton County Firefighters Foundation is dedicated to supporting the well-being and growth of our fire service community. We honor the courage and sacrifice of firefighters past and present, and we educate our members through advocacy, training, and professional development. Guided by the pillars of Support, Honor, and Educate, we strive to strengthen our community, preserve our legacy, and empower those who serve. Our mission includes:
- Supporting projects and programs that promote and enhance the profession of fire fighting and emergency medical services and assist in efforts related to the fire service
- Providing bereavement assistance for families and dependents of a member of the fire and/or EMS profession
- Offering assistance for a member of the professional or public after a significant injury or illness
- Memorializing fire fighters and emergency workers who have died in the line of duty
- Awarding scholarships and/or grants for students endeavoring an education in the public safety profession
- Providing public education concerning fire and burn prevention or treatment
- Continuing and enrichment education for our fire fighters and paramedics
Charity

The HAMILTON COUNTY PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS FOUNDATION, INC. is a 510(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Indiana, and is organized for charitable, memorial and education purposes.
